Cambridge Centre for Sixth-form Studies (CCSS) is one of the UK's leading independent sixth-form colleges, specialising in A-Level and GCSE courses for entry into the best British universities. CCSS is a co-educational college in Cambridge (situated 50 miles north of London) offering GCSE and A-level courses to 200 students (Age range of 15-20), supported by 98 staff. The college provides close academic supervision, a friendly, informal atmosphere and high levels of pastoral care. One-to-one private tutorials are an important and unique part of all A level courses on top of group lessons. The small class sizes (averaging 5 students) allow plenty of opportunity for individual involvement and for developing each student's levels of understanding. A full and flexible GCSE curriculum is offered and at A Level there are over 36 subjects to choose from, without restrictions on choice. We help students decide on the right subjects for university entrance.

Values: All teaching and non-teaching staff at CCSS believe in our moral purpose: that through good teaching, pastoral guidance and close tutorial support, we can improve the life chances of ALL of the students in our care. CCSS is a unique and special place to learn. At a time when the best universities are looking for more than top grade passes, we firmly believe that the pathway to university lies not just in excellent teaching, but in close pastoral care, a broad education and personal guidance from dedicated and experienced teachers.

Stowe School is a co-educational independent boarding school in Buckingham, in the heart of the English countryside. The historic house and magnificent landscaped gardens and park in which it is set provide Stowe with an unique atmosphere. Both boys and girls are able to enter Stowe at either thirteen or sixteen years of age. Stowe is incomparably beautiful. The main School building, once the mansion of the Dukes of Buckingham and Chandos, is set in 750 acres of landscape garden and parkland.

Bury Lawn is an independent (ISA) inter- denominational, co-educational day school for boys & girls aged between 18 months and 18 years in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, in South East England, (about 45 miles (75 km) north-west of London). Bury Lawn prides itself on its family atmosphere in which everybody is valued as an individual and is encouraged to reach their full potential within a disciplined yet caring atmosphere. The school offers a wide range of academic, sporting and cultural opportunities..

Rochester Independent College in the County of Kent, just east of London, is a progressive alternative to conventional secondary education with a happily distinctive ethos. Accepting day students from the age of 11 and boarders from 16 the focus is on examination success in a lively, supportive and informal atmosphere. The College has an atmosphere closer to university than school. Rochester Independent College is recognised as an Independent School by the DfES and is regularly inspected by OFSTED. In 2003 it was inspected by the Independent Schools Inspectorate. The College is a fully accredited member of the British Accreditation Council.

London’s leading co-educational day and boarding schools, set on a magnificent 120-acre parkland site just 10 miles from the city centre. The Mill Hill School Foundation offers education to boys and girls aged between 3 and 18 in its three schools. The schools occupy a magnificent 120-acre parkland site just 10 miles from Central London and within easy reach of Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted and Luton Airports, motorways, bus, underground and rail links. Our curriculum offers exciting teaching methods set against a traditional background.

The 2007-2008 academic year has been another successful year for CCSS students. The overall pass rate in the A-level examinations was an enviable 99.6 per cent, and 67 per cent of the pupils achieved A-C grades. Unlike many schools, CCSS is non-selective and therefore we are very proud of these results. Students come to us with different backgrounds and abilities, but all of them benefit from the individual approach and supportive environment at the college.
