5 CFSA entitlements other than those in PDS Meals for pregnant women and lactating mothers through aanganwadi. Meals for children of age 6 months to 6 years through aanganwadi. Mid day meal for children of age 6 years to 14 years in school. Supplementary nutrition for malnourised children.

7 CFSA – coverage - exclusions All households that are income tax payees. In non-scheduled areas all such households who own more 4 hectares of irrigated or 8 hectares of non-irrigated land. In urban areas all such households that own a pucca house (concrete roof) of carpet area > 1000 sqft and are liable to pay property tax.

8 CFSA – coverage – inclusions (No percentage limits have been prescribed) All households of landless agricultural labors. All households of small or marginal farmers. (land up to 2 Ha). All households of workers in urban informal sector. All households of construction workers

9 CFSA – coverage – inclusions (No percentage limits have been prescribed) All households of Particularly Vulnerable Social Groups such as – – Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups. – Households headed by – Terminally ill persons. Widows or single women. Physically challenged persons. All households headed by a person of age sixty years or more with no assured means of subsistence or societal support. Person freed from bonded labour. All households of Particularly Vulnerable Social Groups shall be designated as Antyodaya households.

12 CFSB – Salient features Entitlements on per household basis (and not on per person basis) Entitlements in PDS not only for foodgrains. – Provision for iodized salt, pulses in non-scheduled areas and black gram in scheduled areas. Provision of foodgrains for students in hostels and Aashrams.

13 CFSB – Salient features State Government to notify schemes within 6 months of commencement of Act. Eligible households (in either Central or State law) to get entitlements in Central or State law, whichever is more. State Government to bear full financial burden for entitlements over and above that are provided by the Central Government.

14 CFSB – Salient features Eldest woman of the family to be head of the household for the purpose of ration card. Local bodies to be responsible for implementation. Notification of services under the Chhattisgarh Lok Seva Guarantee Act, 2011. Offences made punishable in EC Act, 1955.
