Collection of use statistics When – July What – PDF and HTML downloads for last 12 month Where – Resource Record - Usage Statistics field Delivery Method:Web site download URL:http://www3.interscience.wiley.com/customer.html Directions:After login, click on Usage Statistics in box on left side of screen. Click on Journal Report 1: Number of Successful Full-Text Article Requests by Month and Journal (download). ID/Password:EAL0000310/8DC5344CY

3 Step 2. Standardize the data Last 12 months for 50 or so providers 2005 and 6 months 2006 COUNTER, missing data 2 or 3 people 30 days Step 3: Cumulate the data Add data to the serials decision database by title If have ejournals in multiple place, add use together on the spreadsheet Keep Ovid separate and merged with all other ejournal data

4 Serials Decision Database To cumulate information needed to assess the collection in one place so it can be manipulated to create reports. To organize the information in a way that the Collection Development Committee can make decisions and not be overwhelmed by data. To provide objective information to be reviewed subjectively by the Collection Development Committee.
