1. Inside Traders Knew About Attacks Before They Happened
Right before the September 11th attacks, some fishy business happened within the stock market and insurance firms. An “extraordinary” amount of traders sold shares in United Airlines and American Airlines, the same airlines that were hijacked during the attacks.
Many speculate that traders were tipped off about the attacks and profited from the tragedy. The Securities and Exchange Commission launched an insider trading investigation after receiving information from at least one Wall Street Firm.
Counter-conspiracy says:
Trades in stocks and shares happen in huge amounts all the time. It would be highly unlikely that traders, most of whom worked in the streets around and in some cases inside the World Trade Centre, would be making trades due to having insider knowledge of the attacks. If they had known then they would almost certainly have been well away from New York and at least one of the sellers would have surely told family and friends.
Air Defense Was Told To ‘Stand Down’
In the event that a airplane were to be hijacked, the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) is prepared to send out fighter jets which can debilitate or shoot down an airplane.
On 9/11/01, NORAD generals said they learned of the hijackings in time to scramble fighter jets. But the official story goes that no fighter jets got to the hijacked planes.
This is despite there being almost an hour and a quarter between the first plane hitting the World Trade Centre and United Flight 93 being crashed in a fight between passengers and hijackers.
Counter-conspiracy says:
The planes struck in New York 17 minutes apart, as soon as the first reports of a hi-jack were reported jets were scrambled but this did not happen until the first plane had hit the towers. Nobody at the time imagined that people would fly themselves into buildings and there was so much confusion on the day. Jets patrolled New York after the attacks, other planes were of course hijacked but they were heading for Washington.

2. Planes Didn’t Make Twin Towers Collapse, Bombs Did
The World Trade Center collapse appeared similar to a controlled demolition. Many speculate that the towers were in fact blown down with explosives placed in selected locations.
Some witnesses accounted hearing explosions inside the building as they attempted to escape. Many architects and scientists even maintain that a plane’s fuel cannot produce enough heat to melt the steel frame of the two buildings that collapsed.
Counter-conspiracy
It didn’t look like a controlled demolition. A controlled demolition starts at the bottom of the building, whereas the World Trade Centre buildings clearly began to collapse from the point at which the planes hit. The ‘explosions’ that conspiracy theorists talk about, where not bombs but the force of the collapse pushing air out of the windows.
The Pentagon Attack Scientifically Doesn’t Hold Up
The Pentagon crash may be the most-puzzling event of the day. Theorists maintain that the impact holes in the pentagon were much smaller then a commercial American Airlines plane. They also question why the plane was not shot down prior to impact, as well as why the plane hit a section of the Pentagon that was vacant due to renovations.
Counter-conspiracy
There were a number of witnesses that saw a plane hit the building. There was also wreckage of a plane found at the site. The plane was not shot down because people were not expecting a commercial aeroplane to fly into a building and that the plane hit a part of a building shut for renovations is not relevant at all, just lucky.

3. Flight 93 Was Completely Staged
The fourth hijacked plane, Flight 93, crashed in Shanksville, Pennsylvania. It is believed that the passengers fought back and crashed the plane in to a field.
Conspiracy theorists believe that Flight 93 landed safely, while a substitute plane was shot out of the sky. Other theorists believe that the passengers were murdered or relocated and will never be found.
Counter-conspiracy
Relatives were on the phone to loved ones at the time of the passenger hi-jack and heard it happen. Where are the people who died on the plane if there flight 93 did not happen? There was clear evidence of an aircraft crashing into a field.
Hijackers Are Alive. How Did Their Passports Survive Explosion?
After the September 11th attacks, the “Loose Change” documentary stated that all of the hijackers were in fact alive in other countries. Rather presumptuous since it is possible for two different people to have identical names. But they did raise a good point; how did the passports of the terrorists survive the explosion?
In the aftermath of the attacks, passports and identification were found as evidence. Many skeptics question how identification made out of paper survived an explosion, which destroyed buildings.
Counter-conspiracy
Some passports were found. One was found a few blocks away from the World Trade Centre before the towers collapsed, others found in debris where flight 93 crashed. In a plane crash not everything is destroyed, have a look online at photos of plane crashes and you will see that even in the worst crashes you can still see debris.

4. Cell Phone Calls Made From Planes Were Faked
In flight calls were made from cell phones in hi-jacked airplanes. Scientists and skeptics maintain that cell phones could not receive reception from the altitude the planes typically fly at. Other skeptics questioned a phone call from a son to his mother, in which he referred to himself by his own first and last name.

They could do this and they did. Watch any video of any relative of people who died on the planes and see the raw emotion as they re-tell their story. There are also a couple of recorded answerphone messages. It clearly happened.
Black Boxes Found By Search Crew Kept Secret
During the ensuing weeks after the attacks, the black boxes were one of the most-important items to find. They were the only evidence in to what happened inside the cockpits of the plane.
Three of 4 black boxes were found and only one was in good enough condition to listen to. The tape was not initially released but was shared with the families in Conspiracy theorists believe the tapes were not disclosed in order to support the secret scheme.
Counter-conspiracy
The black box is located in a secure section of the aircraft and for example when they hit the World Trade Centres the aircraft were embedded deep in the buildings which were on fire. In the extreme temperatures the aircraft melted, along with the black boxes.

5. Aluminium Planes Can’t Penetrate Steel Structure Of World Trade Centre
Commercial airplanes’ frames are constructed with a very light aluminium material in order to make it easier to fly. Theorists maintain that there is no possible way an airplane can do as much damage as it did to the Twin Towers as it did. Theorists believe that missiles or explosives were used to ensure the buildings collapsed.
Counter-conspiracy
Watch the many videos of that event. Two planes carrying several gallons of jet fuel, filled with passengers, flew directly into the World Trade Centre buildings. There is footage from the day of jet engines that went straight through the building and landed on the other side. Explosives were not used, the building collapsed at the point of impact because a huge proportion of the building was destroyed and there were tonnes of weight above the impact zones. It was amazing that they stood for as long as they did.
