2 Now you have found the apprenticeships section on The Source, check the menu on the left hand side and click on the apprenticeship vacancies page.

3 You will now start to search for Apprenticeship vacancies in Suffolk. Select town closest to you to see vacancies in your local area.

4 You now have access to live vacancies across Suffolk! Scroll down see all, click on any you find interesting or would like to find out more about. Be sure to read all the information it contains to ensure you can do the job. Your next step is to search for vacancies or login. Click on the top left hand side.

5 Your next stage is to login or create an account. Click under to create an account with the National Apprenticeship Service. If you already have an account, login with your details.

6 Fill in and complete your details on the online form. Be sure to use a sensible email address and read the terms and conditions. Make sure to of your username and write it down. Keep it safe – you will need it! You must now verify your account to be able to use it.

7 This is your homepage. You can now search, apply and manage your apprenticeship applications all in one place. Click on to get started.

8 This is how to start your apprenticeship search. Select the options that best describe what you want to do or are interested in.

9 This is your search result page. Here you can view most live apprenticeship vacancies. Click on any you find interesting to view it.

10 Ensure that you read the job description fully and understand what you need to have to get the job i.e. qualifications. Once you are happy and want to make an application, click on the button.

11 Before you apply If you have completed your profile, continue through to the application page. Make sure your profile has all your details including grades, predicted grades, work experience, paper-round, Saturday job etc.

12 This is the most important part of your application process. Be sure you answer all questions as fully as possible! Read the notes below and get started. Once you have answered all questions – click the button, CHECK and then

13 It can take up to six weeks to hear back once you have applied. You will be able to manage all your applications on your homepage.
