2 Eastern European Immigrants since 2004 Around 1 million people moved from the new EU member states by 2008 but around half have since left the UK Poles still represent a substantial proportion of the population in UK cities.

5 Initially, men moved to the UK as single men living in rented accommodation provided by recruitment agencies such as Advance Personnel. Within a year or so.......
