This country is one of the most beautiful country in the world if you go there in the summer you are going to have a lot of fun, the beaches are so beautiful and blue like the ocean and the rivers are amazing and clear also the food taste really good and so the drinks like “pina colada”. Many people from the United States go to the Dominican Republic to visit, but also many of them go to Resources, when they go there, they say that Dominican Republic is a really nice country, and the food taste really good. Well I am going to tell you guys some more interesting stuff like the History, Flag, Food and interesting places. I hope you like my story, ENJOY!!!

4. The Journey Of Dominican Republic I'm going to talk about the Dominican Republic. The Dominican Republic is a island that Christopher Columbus Explored and claimed on his first voyage in 1492, the languages that we talk there is Spanish, our Religions is Roman Catholic, the capital of DR is Santo Domingo and our independence day is on February 27. Dominican Republic is a tropical, country wet season is from May to November, with periodic hurricanes between June and November. Most rain falls in the Northern and eastern regions.

5. The Flag Some of the important symbols include the flag, the coast of arms, and the national anthem, titled Himno Nacional. The flag has a large white cross that divides it into four quarters. Two quarters are red and two quarters are blue. Red represents the blood shed by the liberators. Blue expresses God's protection over the nation. The white cross symbolizes the struggle of the liberators to bequeath future generations a free nation. An alternate interpretation is that blue represents the ideals of progress and liberty, where as white symbolizes peace and unity amongst Dominicans.

6. The Food Some of the food that really taste good, it is the Mofongo, Lasana, and chicken and lots of more. My favorite food is the Mofongo and my favorite drink is Pina Colada yummy. People say that the food there, tasted good if you go there for like one week or more you going to get fat because you eat a lot when you there and thats what get you fat. Different people from the Dominican Republic make different food that taste different from other people also one of my favorite dessert is "Flan" which taste really good, it is like, a sweet taste.

7. Places that I like One of my favorite places there is Punta Cana that's like one of the most beautiful places there, Punta Cana is like a resort in the Dominican Republic, a lot of people go there when they are on vacations, but Punta Cana is not the only beautiful place there they are also many more, you should go there for u to find out how it is there. One of my favorite beach there is call Playa Grande that beach is like so clean and the water is blue just like the ocean. They are too many places that I love there, since I was a little girl i used to always go to different places with my family, and Discover new places.
