HDD Partition Setup Why does DVR have to be divided partition in Hard disk. ▶ As DigiNet save data to Hard disk, DVR is not overwrite to Hard disk but automatically format drive and save data to Hard disk. 1. After installing DVR and perform DVR at the beginning, format drive D and save data. 2. Automatically format drive E, if D drive is full. 3. Rest of the drive will be proceeded as same as No.2 4. If Hard drive is full, automatically format drive D again and save data and previous data will not be existed. ▶ Therefore, each partition of drive will be divided as possible as small size(1~2GB), but is need for your attention, if you have plan to add Hard disk. ▶ Each saving data drive will be divided from D to Y maximally If it is included backup system, the system will be required a drive, so last two drives will be made for backup. This is the example of “FDISK” when 20GB Hard is installed. 1 Insert Booting Diskette to A: drive and turn on the power. Then it will be boot by floppy diskette.
