1 MOBCOM SharePoint Account Request Instructions MCEITS must create your MOBCOM SharePoint Account Ensure your CAC Reader is installed and your CAC is inserted before proceeding. Go to: http://mceits.usmc.mil in your Internet Explorer browser.http://mceits.usmc.mil Click on the: Request MCEITS iPS Account in the left side navigation panel under “Request Services”Request MCEITS iPS Account This brings up the Request Form shown on subsequent pages. 2 Click the “Request MCEITS iPS Account” Link to bring up the account request form

3 Click the “OK” Button

4 Follow the Account Instructions and Click “I Agree” radio button Use your “.mil” email address

5 Enter MOBCOM in Organization/Unit MOBCOM

6 Choose “MOBCOM” in the SharePoint Site Drop- down.

7 These boxes are not necessary for government employees accounts. Leave blank. Click the “Submit” button

8 After you click the “Submit” button, you will get this “Thank You” screen. Your account request will be reviewed, verified, and approved by a MOBCOM SharePoint G-6 Administrator who will then notify MCEITS to create your account, then you will receive your login USERID and PASSWORD.

9 The following slide is an example of the email you will receive (within 48hrs) from MCEITS SharePoint Services: YOU MUST FOLLOW THESE DIRECTIONS TO COMPLETE YOUR ACCOUNT YOU MUST FOLLOW THESE DIRECTIONS TO COMPLETE YOUR ACCOUNT CREATION! From: MCEITS Help [MCEITSHelp@mceits.usmc.mil] Sent: To: Your Name Cc: MOBCOM.G6.Helpdesk Subject: MCEITS iPS SharePoint You have been granted access to MCEITS SharePoint Services by gary.l.young1@usmc.mil for MOBCOM Please follow the instructions below and reply to this email with the 10 digit EDIPI number from your CAC-card certificate. 1. Open up an Internet Explorer browser 2. Click on Tools-->Internet Options-->Content tab-->Certificates 3. When the Certificates window opens up, double click on one of the certificates issued by DOD Email CA-XX 4. This will bring up your certificate information 5. In the center of the screen you will see ISSUED TO with your name listed 6. There is a 10 digit number immediately after your name known as the EDIPI# 7. Capture the number and reply to this email WITH your EDIPI number and the Service Desk will cac-enable your account and send you a confirmation email once completed Contact your primary site administrator or the MCEITS Service Desk if you have any questions. 11 2. Click on Tools-->Internet Options-->Content tab-- >Certificates 3. When the Certificates window opens up, double click on one of the certificates issued by DOD Email CA-XX

12 4. This will bring up your certificate information 5. In the center of the screen you will see ISSUED TO with your name listed 6. There is a 10 digit number immediately after your name known as the EDIPI# Note: On the Details tab of the certificate window. Select “Subject” and you can select and copy the “CN=“ value from the bottom text box, which contains your name and EDIPI#
