3 Ir and Ser Ir and Ser are exactly the same in the preterite Fui fuimos
Fuiste fuisteis Fue fueron Ir and Ser

4 You must use context clues in the sentence to determine whether “ ir” or “ ser” is being used.
Fuimos al parque de diversiones We went to the amusement park Fue un día muy divertido It was a very fun day Ir and Ser continued

5 Hice hicimos Hiciste hicisteis Hizo hicieron Hacer

6 Note: In the él/ella/ud. Form, the c of the stem changes to a z
¿Qúe hizo usted ayer?( What did you do yesterday?) Hice la tarea. ( I did homework) Hacer continued

7 Vi vimos Viste visteis Vio vieron Ver

8 Di dimos Diste disteis Dio dieron Dar

9 Both verbs take regular er/ir preterite tense endings but have no written accent marks.
