To HARNESS the various gifts and abilities and channel them towards the common goal. (v.16) D. To WIN games. (v.13b) Ephesians 4:11-16

4  A COACH’S DREAM :  Ministry Leadership Training A. To MOBILIZE a team of people who know the game inside and out. (v.14) B. To coach a team of people who have the TALENT or GIFTS needed to win. (v.16) C. To NURTURE a team of people who have the desire and discipline to complete and succeed on the highest level. (v.14) Ephesians 4:11-16

5  QUALITIES OF A SUCCESSFUL COACH:  Ministry Leadership Training A. The ability of CHOOSING the team well. B. Constantly COMMUNICATING the game plan (Vision). 1. Telling the team what you EXPECT of them. 2. Giving the team an OPPORTUNITY to perform. 3. Letting them know how they are GETTING ALONG.

6  QUALITIES OF A SUCCESSFUL COACH:  Ministry Leadership Training B. Constantly COMMUNICATING the game plan (Vision). 4. INSTRUCTING and EMPOWERING them when they need it. 5. Rewarding them according to their CONTRIBUTION.

This is an opportunity to make PERSONNEL changes. 4. This is an opportunity to make PLAY changes. 5. This is an opportunity to REST.
