2. VoIP Gateway Quick Configuration
This picture illustrates basic installation topology of Gateway and IP phone for SIP Proxy mode.

3. IPX-1900 Configuration 1
Select the [IP PBX Setup - > Extension Management - >SIP Extension ] of IPX-1900 to add extensions for the Gateway and IP Phone. 2

4. VIP-480 Configuration 3
Select the [Advance - >WAN Setting ] of Gateway to set up the WAN interface for the gateway. 4
Setup the WAN interface of VIP-480 follow the information of IP that provides by ISP WAN Type Setting : Static IP

5. VIP-480 Configuration
Select the [Advance -> VoIP Basic] of Gateway to set up the Port Number 5 6
To fill in the Number / Account and Password for registering to IPX-1900

6. VIP-480 Configuration 7 8 To fill in the IPX-1900’s IP address
Click the [Save Configuration] button to save configuration, then click the [Reboot] button to reboot machine.

7. VIP-254PT Configuration
Select the [Network] of LAN Settings to set up LAN interface of the IP Phone. 9 10
Setup the LAN interface of VIP-254PT follow the information of IP that provides by ISP

8. VIP-254PT Configuration
Select the [SIP Settings - > Service Domain] to set up phone number of the IP Phone. 11 12
Setup the phone number of VIP-254PT

User Name: 100

9. VIP-254PT Configuration 13 14 Select the [Save & Reboot]
Click the [Save] button to save configuration and reboot machine.

10. Test the Scenario Outgoing Call A (VIP-480)
Phone1 can dial “100” to call VIP-254PT.
If Phone1 wish to make a call via PSTN line, Phone1 can dial “202” to grab PSTN line (FXO-Port2) at first, after hear dial tone Phone1 can dial “ ” to call out Phone2 via PSTN line.
B (VIP-254PT)
VIP-254PT can dial “201” to call Phone1.
If VIP-254PT wish to make a call via PSTN line, VIP-254PT can dial
“202” to grab PSTN line (FXO-Port2) at first, after hear dial tone
VIP-254PT can dial “ ” to call out Phone2 via PSTN line.
Incoming Call
Phone2 can dial “ ” to call VIP-480 via PSTN line,
then dial “100” to call VIP-254PT, or dial “201” to call Phone1.
