Off-Campus Students must: - hold a valid study permit - be registered in full-time studies - have been a full-time student for at least six of the 12 months preceding the date of the work permit application - hold a GPA of 2.5 or higher - have a SIN card Work Opportunities

27 Four kinds of Work Permits As a Worker4. Graduate Work Permit Graduates of Algonquin programs are eligible to work in Canada for a period of up to 3 years after graduation. Students in programs of 1 year or less are only eligible for a work permit of 1 year. Students in programs 2 or more years are eligible for a permit of up to 3 years. Work Opportunities
