Using Filters Exercise 1.Drill down from Executive Dashboard (select Total page views) 2.Open Discovery Panel 3.Apply filters (drag and drop) Discovery Panel – additions to the current report: Available Filters: values to which data is compared. Filter matches will be included in the report Available Metrics: component that displays the result of applying an operation to the data; most of the columns in a NetInsight report display metrics Available Dimensions: component that displays data without performing an operation on it first; in all reports except crosstab reports, only one column displays a dimension; the dimension value is the value stored in the report column next to the row number

Custom Report Exercise 1.Select Custom Profile Tab; press Create Report 2.Select Customize an existing report, select report; press Continue 3.Set Report Definitions (Time Period, Filters, etc.) 4.Press Save; name the report and choose folder; press Continue 5.Go back to Custom Profile Tab; select your report; press Run Report 6.Press Run button Create and save a custom report
