8. Remote handling – some ideas Ideas: Use the main lifting device and block hook into fixed position Use electrically driven hook to control the rotation if needed The tooling shall be suspended on ropes under the hook, thus preventing from loading the experiment accidentally with the weight of the hook. The tooling shall be equipped with a docking mechanism with guidance during the final approach that shall allow for a few cm of misalignment. Uncoupling and remote operation shall be conducted from and inside the tooling frame (e.g. do not pull/undock the equipment with the main crane). 09-06-2015B. Feral - EN-HE-HM
