8 CONFERENCE SOCIAL PROGRAMME Thursday 21 st June 2007 Newgrange (Half Day) Situated in one of Ireland’s most historic locations, the Boyne Valley. Visit the tombs of Newgrange dating to 3000BC - the oldest Neolithic burial chamber in Europe predating the Egyptian pyramids. (Please note that we can only accommodate a maximum of 45 persons, so these will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis) Dublin City Tour (Half Day) Dublin City has a 2,000 year old history. From medieval cathedrals and ancient city walls to Georgian squares and Victorian grandeur, the streets are alive with history, heritage and tales of bygone years.
