Setting up an expert group to : Support the scientific communities and decision- makers; Identify the main concerns; Identify preventive measures to be strengthened; Assist in development of targets and implementation of effective measures; Interim results. 6 The Working Group Protocol on Water and Health, Article 8, 12 and 13: Surveilllance and early warning Guidelines on Sustainable Flood Protection: Control and reduce health impacts Seminar on Flood Prevention, Protection and Mitigation: Capacity building and policy guidance Based on:  Set up, under the existing work plan, an expert group on extreme weather events, water and health;  Invite countries to lead and contribute to the work of the expert group. The Working Group may wish to:
