Web-based Truth Table Program S07 EE296 Project

Introduction Team IDK: Jason Axelson, Bryant Komo Roles: Designers, testers, programmers.

Overview Our goal for this project is to implement a web-based version of the truth table program utilizing JavaScript.

Approach Our approach for tackling this design problem will be to base the web version of the code for the truth_table program available in SSH on the wiliki server.

We intend to translate as much of the code as needed into JavaScript so that it can be placed on the web. However, our functionality of the program will be different from the wiliki version so there will be some original design involved.

Predicted Problems Difficulties in creating a suitable user interface Difficulties coordinating design efforts Learning JavaScript Running out of time

Learning Goals Learn basic knowledge of JavaScript Increase knowledge of the C programming language Learn the fundamentals of CGI scripts Learn to publish a fully interactive website

Deliverable Goals The main goal is an online version of the truth_table program to give students access to it from any computer with a web connection We also hope that the web program will be able to remember previous sessions and store data into the user’s wiliki account. It will also be able to save.HEX files that can be used by either the web version or the wiliki version.
