7. What happens if… I don’t hand in on time I haven’t completed all my teaching I want to change the title of my thesis I need an extension

I don’t hand in on time -When the deadline is exceeded by one month we will send a reminder - When the deadline is exceeded by two months and you haven’t reacted to our first letter you will be expelled - In case you are expelled and you want to hand in your thesis you may have to pay 30.000,- DKR for the assessment

9. I haven’t completed all my teaching -It is the responsibility of the head of department and you to coordinate your teaching - If your deadline is approaching and you have teaching left settle an appointment with you head of department in due time - The scedule for teaching should always be discussed at you yearly Employee development interview (MUS)

I want to change the title of my thesis -Application for change of title must be made on special form - Application must be handed in at least 4 weeks before deadline – must be signed by supervisor - Application must be handed in to the local Ph.D. committee - Applications are rarely turned down

11. I need an extension Extensions are not given… … unless there are unusual circumstances Unusual circumstances are illness, death, natural disaster

I need an extension Extensions are only given for up to three months, only one extension is possible Application must be handed in two months before initial deadline AT THE LATEST Application must be handed in to the local Ph.D. committee - must be signed by your supervisor - must contain a plan for finishing you thesis Extensions are always without pay
