Internship Facts  Two tracks available Two term sequence ○ First term in the classroom, second term online ○ Offers preparation and help in finding an internship and well as professional development, reflection, and assessment One term option ○ Available to students who have found their own internship ○ Offers professional development and reflection and assessment in a totally online course  Junior status preferred (late Sophomore is okay)

3. Internship Facts  Open to students in any major who are not required to co-op or participate in a specific departmental internship  No GPA requirement  Work 10-30 hours per week on an internship  Take classes at the same time  Earn academic credit 6+ credit hours

4. Participating Companies  Over 200 companies and organizations, including… Cincinnati Museum Center Procter & Gamble Salvation Army Cincinnati Bell …Both for profit and not-for-profit, paid and unpaid opportunities

How Do You Get Started?  2 term sequence Sign up for 36-PD-280 or 300 (Exploration of Academic Internships) This course is designed to help you prepare for and secure work for an internship You should take it in the term immediately preceding the term in which you want to intern  1 term course (if you’ve secured an internship on your own) Speak with a Manager of Academic Internships
