4. 1. Alarm notification system
Idea:
Acquire PLC data (in tags) directly from the PLC with Serial or TCP/IP protocol
Send alarm notifications, via modem, in case of defaults:
4 thresholds/tag (with deadband & activation delay)
Notification via SMS, , FTP puts & SNMP Trap
A quick configurable system than can monitor up to 350 tags and generate alarms on each tag!

5. 2. Remote Gateway for SCADA & OPC
Idea:
Use an eWON remotely to collect PLC data, in two modes, using its built-in modem:
Poll data :
Through Ethernet using PLC TCP/IP protocol
Through Ethernet & gateway using PLC serial protocol
Through Modbus or SNMP Protocol
Push data :
via and FTP to SCADA or to another eWON, being a collector
Interfacing your RTUs with SCADA application in Poll or Push data mode
