5 Final Exam: Study Strategies Past Quizzes  40 questions taken from past quizzes Online Lecture Slides  If I blather about it, then it’s important. End of Chapter “Key Terms”  Concentrate on terms from assigned reading End of Chapter “Review Questions”  Concentrate on assigned questions Find a Study Partner or Group if Helpful Don’t Wait until “The Night before the Final”

6 Final Exam Format There are 40 questions from the past quizzes Between 5-7 questions from each old quiz 20 new questions All material covered is considered fair game About 6 (10%) extra credit questions Again, anything covered in class is fair game Final is 40% total grade for good performance It’s only 25% total grade for poor performance

7 Final Exemptions Exemptions can be picked up immediately after class today, outside of the classroom, after completion of the Student Course Evaluations.

9 Student Course Evaluations I need a student volunteer to pick up the completed evaluation form and deliver them to an appropriate drop box location no later than today.

10 Student Course Evaluations Evaluations are important to me. I learn much from them. All opinions are valued. I appreciate constructive criticisms and thoughtful suggestions on how to improve my courses. Ideas on how to improve this course, which has 140 students, are highly valued.
