12. page 12June 1, 2015 OpenVMS Integrity and Enterprise Backup Mixed-architecture clusters (Alpha/Integrity) allow for: – Shared SAN storage between both architectures – Shared direct-attached storage via MSCP serving from one architecture to the other – Alpha or Integrity-based applications, therefore, can manipulate storage from either perspective Applications existing on only one architecture can have access to the other architecture via OpenVMS Clustering – SLS on Alpha can continue to access Integrity-driven storage – DataProtector on Alpha can continue to access Integrity-driven storage (until their port is complete) – Any Integrity-based solution can continue to access Alpha- driven storage for as long as the mixed-architecture cluster exists
