9 How do we get Value Add? What is Roster Verification? Roster verification is a process to accurately capture the instructional linkage between teachers and students. For each course / subject taught, teachers will confirm: ◦the students enrolled, ◦the months of instruction, and ◦their instructional responsibility for each student. Why Do We Link? Accurate class rosters and percent of instructional attribution are essential to ensure teachers and their students are appropriately linked in the SAS ® EVAAS ® value-added analysis for teacher-level reports.
