29 1. Is God willing to be our God? 2. Is God able to be our God?

30 Daniel 3:17: “If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able to deliver us from it, and he will deliver us from Your Majesty’s hand.” Daniel 3:18: “But even if he does not, we want you to know, Your Majesty, that we will not serve your gods or worship the image of gold you have set up.” Colossians 3:2: Set your mind on things above, not on earthly things.

35 Romans 10:17: “So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” Hebrews 11:6: “And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.” Hebrews 11:1: Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
