2 The Paradox of an Unreliable Conscience  Although the conscience is unreliable, you must realize that to violate your conscience is always a sin – even when the conscience is misinformed.

3 Examples of a Guilty Conscience  Judah’s conscience won’t let him kill Joseph, but his conscience allows him to sell his brother into slavery.  Their conscience is guilty all these years later, they admit their guilt, and they acknowledge that judgment is coming.  Judah admits that God has found out their guilt, the guilt of that day with Joseph, the guilt of lying to his father all these years.
