4. The Question Should students be allowed to chew gum in school?

5. People who are in favour of allowing chewing gum say that: 1- Some research claims that the action Of chewing gum could make people smarter. Chewing gum improves performance during thinking and memory task. 2- No problem with teeth damage because there are a lot of sugar free gums available today. 3- Chewing gum helps students deal with stress.

6. On the other hand People who oppose the idea of letting students chew gum in school argue that: 1- Paths will be stained with chewing gum marks. Some students’ property is also damaged – parents complain. 2- Some teachers also feel that the sight of students chewing gum may give the school a casual( informal) appearance. 3- Some students are rude and letting them chew gum will increase their rudeness.

7. Introduction Some people believe that schools should allow student to chew gum. I agree/disagree with them. I have several reasons for my opinion.
