STUDENT ORGANIZATIONS FFAHOSASkillsUSAFBLA FCCLAFEADECA For more information on each, please visit our website: http://www.mychandlerschools.org/page/952

27 Why is it important for students to view these CTE programs before high school? Students more than ever are coming to high school equipped with information about what career area they will likely go into (thanks to the KUDER assessments that they are completing in 7th & 8th grade). Being able to explore their career clusters while still in high school is very important for today’s student. ( For example, students that indicate strong interest (or aptitude) in health sciences, may choose to start taking some Health Sciences classes in high school. This might allow them to pinpoint a specific medical profession and will drastically increase the chance of them going on to college to complete a program or learn a trade/skill in the field.)
