1. SVHS TAKS Scores by Teachers Addressing the Objectives

2. Getting your TAKS data First you will go to the P drive and open the folder named “Excel TAKS Sheets”

3. Next you will open the file for your department

4. Then you will click on your name in the tabs at the bottom of the file

5. You will need to have your class rosters ready for the next step.

6. Left click and hold on the grade level cell for the first student on your first roster. Drag your mouse over to include the cell with their score titled “TAKS E/R.” Release the mouse button.

7. While this area is highlighted, you are going to copy it. You can do this by right clicking and choosing copy

8. Now you will need to open the document where you will paste this information. Look at the P drive again and open the file named “(your department) objectives.”

9. The Objective sheet will look similar to this

10. You will need to select the “Period 1” tab for your first class

11. Tabs can be renamed to reflect your class periods by right clicking on the tab and choosing “rename.” Once you do that, just type over the existing name.

12. Now you are ready to paste the information your copied before Right click in the first box under the title “Grade.” Choose paste.

13. Your information for that student will appear in the cells Repeat this step for each student in this class period.

14. When you have finished one period, click on the next tab to populate your next period class.

15. Once you have completed the student information for each tab, you can look up the TAKS data in ADM.
