Page 4 FP6 New Instruments FP6 introduces new instruments to carry out R&T activities: Network of excellence (involvement of Research Centres) Integrated Project (IP) Specific Targeted Research Projects (STP) Article 169: In implementing the multiannual framework programme the Community may make provision, in agreement with the Member States concerned, for participation in research and development programmes undertaken by several Member States, including participation in the structures created for the execution of those programmes
