2. RTI All the head post offices are designated as nodal agency for receipt of applications. Applications received on behalf of all the central government departments. Transferred to CPIOs of concerned Ministries/Departments.

3. RTI It should not be forwarded to Divisional offices. Not be forwarded to the Head of the office of the concerned Ministries/Departments. Instrument in respect of Fees paid if any should also be sent to concerned CPIOs.

4. RTI Such application should reach CPIOs within 5 days of receipt at POs. An intimation regarding forwarding of applications to CPIO may be sent to applicant. No fee is required to be collected for forwarding of application.

5. RTI Application should be forwarded through registered post. A register should be maintained in respect of applications forwarded. To identify CPIOs of concerned Ministries/Departments, Web sites may be accessed.

7. RTI The list of CPIOs will be published by all the departments in their web site. All the Central Government departments are having their own web site. If the information is sought from Postal Department, then also it should be forwarded to concerned CPIO.
