5 Woke up this morning with the sounds of animals outside. I was sleeping in this old hut, with straw on the roof, and logs for the walls. In the inside there are two ovens that they cook things in. A fire is going in one of them right now, I smell the black smoke around me. There are a few beds, with sheep skins or animals skins to keep me from freezing as it is pretty cold outside at the moment. It is nice and cozy in the inside of the hut. There are a lot of pots and pans inside that they use for cooking. Tools are also in the inside. As I look out the window there are lots of different huts in many sizes. I haven't been here long, only a few days but, it is really cool being here. I am only 12 years old so is is a great expierence for me. I still think about how funny it is that I managed to get myself here. Through the time warp. I just stepped inside. The Celts are a strange people. The women do all the cooking and gathering; the men do the hunting of the animals. The Celtic women are just like us. They wear make-up but it is not the same as ours, coloured stripes on their faces, they paint their fingernails, and redden their cheeks with herbs and leaves. The Celts eat things like pork, beef, oxen, game and fish, along with honey, butter, cheese, curds and milk, wine, mead, and beer. I have eaten these things while I have been here and they are very tasty. I watch the men go and hunt them, then the women cook them. The Celts have servents as well that do their work for them. It seems like a nice life. When they aren't hunting they go and play games like hockey, and chess well at least things like chess that we do now. Well I have to go now and help the women, I love my trip here, but, I wonder if I will ever manage to get home, I miss my family and they probably wonder where I am at this moment.
