W-bellows closures The task: 1695 ICs to close + 118 ICs to close after re-opening for NC treatment (WISH) Quality improvement (additional check list) Quality: in total (based on opened NCR) 22 leaks on W-bellows (1.2%)! 2014/09/16 CMI Section Meeting

8 Safety Relief Valves (DN200) installation
612 missing DN200 installed (sec.23, sec.45 - partially, sec.78, sec.81) 17 DN200 installed on cryo-magnets exchanged during LS1 2 additional DN200 installed for CryoBLM (sec.45 and sec.78) The team: Collaborators from JINR Dubna, Russia; Activity responsible: Jose Manuel Gomes de Faria 2014/09/16 CMI Section Meeting

9 Thermal Screens Upgrade
In the dedicated workshop in Bld.183 ~1900 thermal screens sets were upgraded (a clamp installed instead of the welded lyra; hinge, aluminum bride and snap fasteners were added between the upper and lower shield) The team: 2 FSU + support of Dubna Team Activity responsible: Graeme Barlow In the tunnel ~8500 holes were punched in the cryostat’s thermal screens to prepare the installation of upgraded shields. M-bellows Protections Consolidation ~5000 pcs modified in Workshop (SMI2) ~100 pcs considered as radioactive – modified in Workshop Bld.109 ~40800 inserts installed! 13 Re-openings/closures of interconnections for NC treatment
Since 18th June 2014 86 ICs were opened for NC treatment 69 ICs re-opened for leak detection 14 ICs re-opened for CryoTT fixing 3 ICs re-opened for ELQA Future activities: 20 ICs to close (sec.34 and sec.45) ? ICs to re-open 2014/09/16 CMI Section Meeting
