Frigate Ecojet Current status of the program September 2014

2 New legal entity FPG Rosaviaconsortium has established a new legal entity Frigate Ecojet focusing on engineering works for a new generation aircraft. The new company become the consolidated management hub for the project of the same name on all stages to the launch of the aircraft commercial operations. To the company transferred all created to date assets. The new company also acted as a communication liaison with the investment community, actively searching for and attracting strategic investors to the program.

3 R & D Program  has entered the project’s definition phase,  first flight will take place in around , with EIS following in 2021. Decided to establish of an engineering center in Zhukovsky, in the Moscow region. The main objective of this center will be the execution and coordination of further design and integration activities.

4 Certification Decided on the initial certification of the aircraft by European regulations (EASA) . We discuss the plan for the necessary action with the involvement of qualified consultants with experience to certification by EASA regulations.

5 Range of research Wind tunnel Testing Stage 2. Test under cryogenic conditions. Examination of the flight conditions lift-to-drag ratio and other aerodynamic qualities of the Frigate Ecojet to be a matter of the “clean configuration-model”. The contract was signed with our technology partner - ThyssenKrupp System Engineering (TKSE). The expected results of the tests - January Manufacturing of Aircraft Model - Deharde Maschinenbau . Wind tunnel Testing of Aircraft Model - The European Transonic Wind Tunnel, ETW, Cologne, Germany Testing the full-scale fuselage section for durability in the given weight under conditions of internal pressure. Сontract with TKSE is discussed. The planned site for testing- IMA Dresden. The planned plant for production (final assembly)- various plants in Germany

6 Final assembly line ThyssenKrupp System Engineering has developed a plant project for FAL in end of 2013. We performs research of evolution and transformation in the range of the world's major system integrators' global operating platforms, focusing on production logistics, airframe production, and vendor selection - while assessing the underpinning risk sharing partnerships, industrial offset agreements, subsidies , and so forth. Goal and task- to choose the best location for the FAL. When a decision is made - the end of 2014.

7 Team Сreated a core team with previous experience in various areas  development  of program . For specific tasks solicit the best specialists in the industry: -research, strength and aerodynamic-TsAGI -R & D-Tupolev, Sukhoi, UAC -certification EASA - Be-200ES-E ,RRJ95B, TU CE -OEM - Saturn aircraft engines Sam Project Management-Sukhoi Super Jet - Management of the airline - Vnukovo Airlines, Transaero - etc.
