Notes for the teacher: This PowerPoint is designed to accompany the sound file Quel âge as-tu ? There are 8 statements giving 8 different ages between 1 and 12. There several different ways in which you can use the resource. Here are some suggestions: Pupils listen to the sound file and look at the images. They answer Vrai or Faux (true or false). If the answers are false, what should the characters be saying ? Using the penultimate slide, pupils come to the board to point to the correct number once they have listened to the statement on the sound file. The final slide can be used in the same way, but is obviously more difficult as the numbers are arranged randomly. Pupils have a copy of the penultimate slide and touch the correct number on the sheet as they listen to the statement. You can do some speaking practice with the character slides. What are they saying about their age ? Transcript: Quel âge as-tu ? 1. Jai neuf ans 2. Jai deux ans 3. Jai douze ans 4. Jai sept ans 5. Jai trois ans 6. Jai six ans 7. Jai onze ans 8.
