4 Barry Crump was born in 1935 and died in 1996 at the age of 61. He was married 5 times and had 9 sons and no daughters. Barry Crump is the sort of person that you would call a real bushman. Barry Crump’s first novel was called ‘ A Good Keen Man ’. All together his novels sold have reached to over 1 million. Barry was awarded a M.B.E for his services to literature.

5 With Ricky’s Auntie’s sudden death him and his Uncle Hec take to the bush to escape from the social welfare group and stop them from taking Ricky away. From the beginning to the end this book will take you on an adventure of two people slowly coming together with love and trust and becoming the best of friends this story is set in the Urewera country right here in new zealand. There is no other book like it.

6 Dinny then consults Watcher and tells him the problem the 2 men try everything to make her want to leave but soon she is doing the some thing as her father... She likes to help collect the old junk. The men have now given up trying to get her out and is now wanting her to stay to help Dinny and Watcher are the best of mates and the city dustmen. Dinny’s yard is full of old rubbish that could be useful or stuff he just doesn’t want to take to the dump. Him and Watcher also provide fillers illegally to people that need it. Nobody on the street likes dinnys yard until Ashley moves in next door he ends up helping and they start up a company. One day the unexpected happens Dinny’s daughter turns up at his front door and asks to stay with him. Dinny decides that he has to because she is family.
