2 Cronus (Saturn) King of the Titans - Cronus’ symbol was the sickle. He used the sickle to mortally wound his father, Oranus. He was the father to the Olympians which he ate because there was a prophecy that his children would dethrone him

3 Zeus (Jupiter) God of the Sky Zeus’ symbol was the lightning bolt. Zeus is king of the gods. Overthrew his father Cronus and made him disgorge his siblings.

4 Poseidon (Neptune) God of the Sea Poseidon's’ symbols are the trident and the horse because he created them. Sometimes known as the ‘earthshaker’ because he controlled earthquakes at will. Poseidon was mad at Odysseus for blinding his son Polyphemus.

5 Athena (Minerva) Goddess of Wisdom Athena’s symbols are the spear and the Aegis shield, which is where the head of Medusa is held. Athena was the daughter of Zeus alone, she sprouted from his head in full armor. She turned Medusa from a beautiful woman into the monster she is depicted in myths.

6 Helios (Sol) The Titan of the Sun The god of the sun but in Hellenistic times (3 rd century) was blended with Apollo. Helios would rise every morning in the east and set in the west riding his golden chariot hauling the sun.
