3 Research and Development Advanced Transportation Technologies About $3 - $5 million per year for feasibility studies all the way up to late stage demonstration of new technologies. 50 – 50 cost share required up to a $500,000 grant per round of the program. NYSERDA Programs

12 PON 2755 Electric Vehicle-Enabling Technology Demonstration Program Seeks research and demonstration proposals that demonstrate new technologies and approaches to accelerate the market adoption of plug-in electric vehicles (PEVs) and make PEV infrastructure easier to use and more economically viable in New York State Electric Vehicles

13 Infrastructure - PON 2290 Biofuel Station Program 50% of the costs up to $35,000 to upgrade retail fueling stations to sell E85 ethanol. NYSERDA Programs

14 PON 1819 CNG Infrastructure Program for CNG infrastructure as a follow-on to our CNG outreach for local delivery trucks and refuse haulers. 50% up to $300,000 or 25% up to $500,000 for publically accessible CNG stations Released by end of October Natural Gas Infrastructure

15 Fleet Studies Guidebooks available to help fleets understand the process for converting to CNG Studies on how to integrate alternative fuels into their fleets Through the NYSERDA FlexTech program NYSERDA covers up to 50% of cost Education and Outreach

16 PON 1896, Clean Air School Bus Program Retrofit school buses with emissions controls and idling reduction technologies Propane buses 100% of cost of equipment and installation covered, up to set limits per technology Open enrollment – first come, first served NYSERDA Programs
