2. Russia My country, Russia, has many beautiful temples, palaces and other historic buildings. It has modern cities with sports stadiums and shopping centres.

3. Problems There are too many cars on the streets and the traffic jams and pollution are terrible. In Russia happen a lot of accidents. In our country there are many forests. Many people don’t protect our forests and litter much, destroy trees and other plants.

4. Problems in the countryside There are problems in the countryside, too. Most Russians live in small villages and work as farmers. In Russia there are many people, but the isn’t enough work. In Russia there is the problem with the roads. They are terrible.

5. Schools and hospitals In our country there are many schools and hospitals, but not enough kindergartens.

6. Chuvashia (Cheboksary) I live in the Chuvash Republic. Chuvashia is a small republic in the central part of Russia. Cheboksary is the capital of the Chuvash Republic. It stands on the Volga river. Cheboksary is an old town. It was founded in 1469.

7. Cheboksary today Today Cheboksary is a political, industrial and cultural centre of my region. There are many museums, theatres, cinemas, galleries in my town.

8. Volga river bay Cheboksary is famous for the Volga river bay, its people. My town is beautiful and clean. But there are problems in my town.

9. 1. Chuvashia has a lot of terrible roads. 2. Chuvashia has schools, hospitals, but very few kindergartens. 3. There are also in my country traffic jams and pollution. 4. Chuvashia has a lot of fires. 5. People with small wages leave to make money in big cities. 6. The streets have a lot of garbage. People pollute nature.

10. Kugesi I live in the village Kugesi. Kugesi is the center of Cheboksary region. In Kugesi there are many shops, libraries, schools, hospitals, sports stadium, but very few kindergartens. Also in the village there are very bad roads.

11. I love my country Russia, the Chuvash Republic and the village Kugesi.
