2 OCR Life Skills Life and Living Skills entry Level 1, 2, 3 Target group – both young people and mature learners, including those with profound and multiple learning disabilities – Horizontal and vertical progression – Certification available on demand – Qualifications built up with units of credit – No mandatory or barred units – Units are ‘bite-sized’ covering Foundation Learning Strands PSD and Vocational

3 OCR Life Skills Curriculum Planning – Use the curriculum already in place in your centre – Identify the units which are the ‘best fit’ for your curriculum – Map the opportunities for gathering evidence – Plan to gather the evidence

5 Employability entry level 3 award and certificate – Evidence booklets with learner-friendly tasks which cover all assessment criteria – Comprehensive resources with more lesson elements,

6 OCR Personal Life Skills entry level 3 award and certificate – A qualification suite to help students develop the knowledge, understanding and skills needed to manage life and future opportunities Assessment All units are centre assessed and OCR moderated on demand. The evidence required to meet the assessment criteria can be through the OCR Evidence Booklets provided or appropriate centre generated alternatives.

7 OCR Cambridge Progression Qualifications Maths English The new Cambridge Progression suite of qualifications are now available from Entry Level to Level 2 and focus on the fundamentals of learning in English and Maths - core skills and knowledge, simple assessment and a framework of bite-sized, credit- based units. The qualifications can be delivered as a stand-alone programme These new qualifications enable you to specifically develop a learners needs in the area/s they need so they can step off or progress on to their next learning aim. Your learners can take their assessments on screen Designed so learners can step off on to the next learning aim Bite-sized units so you can target the specific needs of your learners Single unit full awards so learners can build up their knowledge and skills

8 OCR Cambridge Progression Qualifications 31 units in total – 18 externally assessed 13 units internally assessed by centres and moderated by OCR Entry 1 Read for purpose and meaning in simple texts Understand simple words and punctuation Construct simple sentences Listen and respond to simple phrases Speak to provide information

9 OCR ICT Computing entry level 3 Using ICT entry level 3 Digital Literacy entry level 3 – designed to assess basic computer concepts and skills so that students' knowledge, understanding and skills are recognised and they gain confidence in using computer technology in everyday life Digital Employability (launch July 2015) – Entry Level 1 - 3 – Level 1 Award – They will know how to use the internet effectively and safely – interact with different IT devices – work with data.
