2. I’m now 16 years old and staying in the North of Scotland.

3. My dad’s at work and my mum is painting. Dad’s new job is on an oil rig in the North Sea. He’s coming home tomorrow.

4. My ba-xi is even better. Now I can find where my mum and dad are with the help of Brad.

5. I don’t like it here. I get home-schooled again because the nearest school is 10 miles away. We stay in the middle of nowhere.

6. A day has passed.

7. Someone is phoning me but who can it be? We’re on our way to get dad.

8. Oh, no! The helicopter dad was in has crashed into the sea because of technical problems. We must go and find him. Brad will help me.

9. We’re in a boat. Brad is telling us where to go. I hope he’s right.

10. We found him but he’s in a bad way. He’ll need to go to hospital.
