A remote database within the System Signaling 7 network for translation and routing of 8YY calls. STP – Signaling Transfer Point POTS – Plain Old Telephone Service (10-digit telephone number). CO – Central Office EO – End Office CC 142 – Call Code 142 AMA record indicating IntraLATA Toll-Free Number. CPN – Calling Party Number

2 800 Database Call Flow w/LNP (INTRALATA 800, SBC originator, SBC 800 Customer) 1.SBC Originating Customer (PSP location) dials 800 Number. 2.SBC 800 Translations then drive a query sending CPN, 800#, and LATA to SBC. 3.Translations route query to SBC 800 Database (SCP). 4.800# and LATA in SCP are defined and SCP returns POTS Routable #. 5.Response is routed back through SBC to the SBC CO. 6.SBC CO/EO uses the POTS Routable # to continue routing. 7.SBC CO/EO routes the call to the Terminating SBC CO/EO either directly or through the tandem. 8.SBC then terminates the call to the customer. The call can route through the tandem if direct trunks are not available. 8.The FB-CLEC then terminates the call to their customer or connects to other carrier/provider.
