DO NOW: 1. Copy Table 22-5 p. 715 - copy name, molecular, structural, and condensed structural formulas ONLY. CLASSWORK: 1. Organic Chem HW Probs - as assigned - Sheet 2 (Zum) 45 (a,b,c,d), 46 (a,b,c), 47, 48 (5 pts) Std 10 EX CR (CW): Ch 22.3 p. 714 18 (a,b) and 19 (2 pts max) (box it) EX CR (HW): Ch 22.3 p. 733 65 (a,b), 66 (a,b,c) (2 pts max) (box it) =========================================================== STAMPING: ● Journal 5/10/13 - What you learned about Organic Chemistry Friday. 1. Handout - Organic Chem HW Probs - as assigned - Sheet 1 25 (all), 26 (all), 27 (all), 28 (all) (10 points) Std 10 COPY WHITEBOARD FROM WEB all questions require structure and name be written on separate sheet of paper, use skeleton instead of condensed formulas

32 ANNOUNCEMENTS Quiz 3.5 coming next Wed. Organic (Ch 22 & 23) and Acid Base Lab Acid Base lab coming next Monday (read and understand this lab, be sure you understand the difference between strong and weak acids. See Ch 19 for help. Responder quiz (5 pts) Mon before lab Notebooks will be collected on this schedule Wed 5/22 - Periods 1 & 2 Th 5/23 - Periods 3 & 5 Fri 5/24 - Period 6

33 1. Read section of the lab your are assigned 2. Prepare a script to describe in detail what to do and be ready to demonstrate it for your part of the lab. Give background to help understand what you need to do in this part of the lab. 3. One person from your group will be picked to give your report. That person must have their own paper with the notes he/she will be using to give the report to the class. 4. Each person in the group will get 1-5 pts depending on the quality of the "representative's" report. Everyone must have names of everyone in group. Group Instructions
