FOR PRODUCER USE ONLY – NOT FOR DISSEMINATION TO THE PUBLIC Incomplete or Saved Transactions Incomplete/saved transactions... –If you are unable to complete the eSubmission of the application –And/or you save the case, and resubmit at a later point in time... you MUST complete the entire credit card transaction again. Why? A unique policy number is assigned when the application is started and submitted with the credit card transaction. If an application is: –closed and submitted later –or saved and submitted later a new unique policy number is assigned the later submission. NOTE: If the credit card transaction is not re-done, the submitted policy number will not match the original policy number assigned to the credit card transaction and we are unable to process the payment.

FOR PRODUCER USE ONLY – NOT FOR DISSEMINATION TO THE PUBLIC Credit Card Processing Failure If the credit card transaction fails for any reason when the payment is processed –unable to match the case –name mismatch –invalid authorization –or charge decline The policy will be conditionally issued on a direct bill, quarterly frequency. The contract kit will contain a letter advising the insured there was an issue with the payment process and provide information how to: –contact American General to resolve the issue –or how to pay the quarterly bill via check
