13. Paul describes non-Jews [Gentiles] as branches on wild olive trees who are now being integrated (grafted) into the people of God. But these people are NOT becoming Jews; they are professing to be followers of Christ. The tree is the visible representation of the people of God beginning with Abraham.

41. A MERICA & I SRAEL 1.God has made a promise to bless those who bless Abraham and curse those who curse Abraham – Therefore, it seems wise or prudent to show favor toward the nation of Abraham 2.Only the return of “Him whom they pierced” will bring peace to Israel

42. C ONCLUSION Promises 1.God has a very specific plan for the future! 2.God has a plan to keep His promises to Abraham, David and ULTIMATELY His Son so that I can trust Him. Warning 1.Do not presume upon the mercy of God.
