6. GIFT OF THE INDWELLING HOLY SPIRIT 1)The HOLY SPIRIT Himself - as the free gift DOREA of God = a gift God gives to EVERY Christian. Acts 2:38 It does NOT imply the POWER to work miracles, and it is NOT necessary, in any passage where the GIFT is referred to, to imply such powers.

8. Acts 2:39,41, (cont.),“For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call… Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.”

9. Ephesians 1:13-14, “…ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, Which is the earnest of our in- heritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.”

10. The Indwelling of the Holy Spirit is: A Gift from God (I and the Father will dwell in you) A Gift of eternal salvation A Gift that dwells within us when we have the right relationship with God.

11. No importance or value can be found in any religion that is not guided and upheld by the Holy Spirit “Restore to me the joy of Your salvation, And uphold me by Your generous Spirit” (Psalm 51:12) “...and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty” (2 Corinthians 3:17)
