2 The SWIMS Story  SWIMS is a lifestyle brand whose philosophy is to reinvent classic styles in functional, technical materials  Established in 2005 by Johan Ringdal  Parsons School of Design / Comes from a family of Inventors  Headquartered and Designed in Oslo, Norway  Manufactured in Asia Who is SWIMS?  SWIMS is about water and playfulness (“Seduce the Rain”)  We take classic, iconic styles and fuse them with high-tech materials and a playful colorful look  In 2006, our Classic overshoes shipped to retailers for the first time, followed by our re-invented rubber loafer in 2010  Today our products are sold in more than 800 select high end retailers in over 35 countries  Isetan (Japan); Harvey Nichols, Harrods, Selfridges, Trunk (UK); Le Bon Marché (France); Vakko (Turkey); Outpost (Spain); NK (Sweden)
