1 Entrepreneur Activity Project 3 Parts Part I – Research of established GA company Part II – Presentation of established Company Part III- Magazine Advertisement Extra credit= Coke Bottle ALL WORK IS DONE AT HOME, YOU WILL NOT BE DOING THIS IN CLASS!! NO EXCEPTIONS!!!

2 Part I  Part 1 – Research of established GA company  They have the paper with the information on it.  IE: Home Depot, Waffle House, Aflac, Chic-Fil- A, etc.  You can choose your company and tell me tomorrow.  You will need to decide which one ( google GA companies, Fortune 500 companies, etc)

3 Part II  2 visuals about the company (examples)  Dress like the worker  Product from the company  Food from the company ( discuss with w me first)  Tri-Board Be creative

4 Entrepreneur Activity - Part III In part one and part two you have gained knowledge of patents and how entrepreneurs get started to create major companies. You were able to work with a partner on this (in some cases.) Now it is your turn! You must create a company of your own (INDIVIDUAL). This company must produce a new product. You will need to advertise your product/service. This part demonstrates your ability to create the advertising. You are to create an ad that can be placed in a magazine to encourage purchase of your product/service.

5 Magazine ad: (10 pts) BE CREATIVE Requirements: 1. Must contain the name of your company 2. Must be typed 3. Must be in color 4. Must describe your product/service (via description or slogan) 5. Must contain an illustration of your product/service 6. Your name should be on the back

6 Coke bottle ( extra credit) display your product  You have been working on an idea for a new product. The idea should be on paper at this point. The next step is to garner interest in your product. When you begin production of your product, you want to have a strong consumer base already available.  Coca Cola is a strong supporter of small business and entrepreneurship. You have been given an opportunity to pitch your idea to the executives at Coke. If they like what you show them, they have offered to test market your product.  The following are what the executives will be looking for in your presentation:  The name of the product  A creative slogan  Colorful/ eye catching display that incorporates their product (8oz sealed glass coke bottle)  A strong “pitch” as to the purpose of the product and why a consumer should purchase it.

7 Coke Bottle: Requirements: 1. Must be a coke project (8oz glass bottle) 2. The coke symbol must be seen. 3. The bottle must be full and sealed 4. The name of your company should be on the bottle. 5. Your name should be on the bottom. 6. The bottle should display a representation of your product/service.

8 Due Date  Magazine advertisements are due MARCH 6  You can look at my example in the class  Presentations will begin the week of March 9.  Dates will be given out March 3
