For my homework I did Argentina, Brazil, Germany, Netherlands and Slovenia soccer team.
1.Soccer is the worlds most played sport. 2.The Fifa World Cup is played every four years. 3.The English invented soccer. 4.Every team has two goalkeepers and one on the field at a time. 5.There are 32 teams competing in the world cup this year. 6.Every world cup the countries are put into groups. 7.These groups are A-H (8 groups). 8.Each group has four countries. 9.Group A has: South Africa, Mexico, Uruguay and France. 10.Group B has: Argentina, Nigeria, South Korea and Greece. 11.Group C has: England, United States, Algeria and Slovenia 12.Group D has: Germany, Australia, Serbia and Ghana. 13.Group E has: Netherlands, Denmark, Japan and Cameroon. 14.Group F has: Italy, Paraguay, New Zealand and Slovakia. 15.Group G has: Brazil, North Korea, Cote d’lvoire and Portugal. 16.Group H has: Spain, Switzerland, Honduras and Chile. 17.There is a foul called a offside. 18.A yellow card means to get a freekick. 19.A freekick is when you get to kick the ball with out any player distracting you. 20.A penalty is when you try score a goal in one shot and only the goalkeeper is in the way of the goals. 21.A red card is when you are disqualified for the game. 22.Soccer is played with one soccer ball. 23.Soccer is also called football in other countries. 24.This year the Fifa World Cup is held in South Africa. 25.In soccer you are not aloud to touch the ball with you hands. 26.Only goalkeepers can touch the ball with their hands. 27.On soccer boots they have spikes on the bottom. 28.Every world cup, every country gets new jerseys. 29.Australia's new is blue, yellow and black.
