Self Image “Without self knowledge, without understanding the working and functions of his machine, man cannot be free, he cannot govern himself and he will always remain a slave.”
What is Self-Image? It is the idea, conception, or mental image one has of oneself. It includes: –What you think you look like physically –What kind of person you think you are –What do you think others think of you –How much you like yourself or you think others like you
A candidate for news broadcasters post was rejected because of his voice. He was also told that with his obnoxiously long name,he would never become famous.
A 4 year old girl – the 20 th of 22 children, contracted double pneumonia and scarlet fever at a very early age, which paralyzed her left leg. Thereafter at 9 years of age she removed her leg braces and started walking without them. At 13 she decided to become a runner but kept failing miserably in all races that she entered in.
